Windows Server is a new addition to our products and services for 2022. Currently, we are only able to license Windows Server 2019 on our network. But, we will be introducing Windows Server 2022 soon. Once your order has been paid we will start the installation of Windows Server 2019 Standard Edition but you must complete the set up of Windows Server.
Set up Windows Server
So, from your F2H client account navigate to Services > My Services and select your Windows Server from the product list. Next, click NoVNC. You should see the set up of Windows Server in progress.

Set Administrator Password
Once complete, you will be asked for an Administrator password. So enter a password and complete the setup. That’s the basic set up of your Windows NVMe VPS Server complete but there are a few more recommended actions.

Install Windows Drivers & F2H Services
So, after you have completed the first steps, it’s time to install the required drivers. If you do not complete this setup, unexpected behaviour will be seen. So now, you should be at the login screen of your Windows NVMe VPS Server. To log in, you must send the CNTRL + ALT + DEL command to the instance. To do this click the arrow on the left.

You may have noticed your instance has no internet connection. This is normal. The required drivers are not included in the standard ISO provided by Microsoft. As we are unable to edit the ISO we use due to licensing agreements, you must install the required drivers. The drivers are mounted in a CD-ROM. Go to “This PC” and double click the virtio-win drive. It’s usually the D: drive.

Double click the virtio-win-gt-x64 setup program at the bottom of the list. Install the defaults. Just click next on each page. Once complete, your Windows Server will have access to the internet. Finally, also install the virtio-win-guest-tools program. This is required for communication between your instance and the hypervisor.
That is the process of configuring your Windows Server complete. You can now enable remote access to connect to your instance.
