Upcoming PHP Requirement Changes – 5.5 to 5.6
On the 30th June 2016, we will be initiating a network wide update of PHP. All reseller servers will have PHP upgraded to the latest stable version which is PHP 5.6. Version 5.5 is now coming to the end of life and will therefore not receive any further security updates.
The default version each account will use will change from 5.5 to 5.6 and you are advised to check any programs that use PHP to make sure they are compatible with the latest stable version. In the event you find your programs are not compatible you can:
- Update your software which will make it compatible with the latest stable version of PHP
- Use our “PHP Version Manager” to force your account to use the old version of PHP
Should you have any questions or concerns you can contact our support team for advice.
